Dr. Muhammad Zaman is the Principal General Practitioner of our practice, bringing over 20 years of experience in family medicine. He is deeply committed to providing patient-centred care and building long-term relationships with individuals and families across generations.

Dr. Zaman’s special interests include chronic disease management, skin care, occupational health, men’s health, and preventative medicine. As our appointed Medical Advisor for Coal Board Medicals, AMA, Railway Medical he plays a key role in ensuring the highest standards of occupational health and safety.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Zaman mentor’s junior doctors and Nurses. He oversees the ongoing development of the clinic’s healthcare services. He performs skin excisions and biopsies every Tuesday.

Dr. Begum, originally from Bangladesh, General Practitioners at our clinic, working alongside Dr. Muhammad Zaman. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients and their families.

Her special interests include women’s health and paediatrics, where she takes a caring and attentive approach to ensure the best outcomes for her patients.

Dr. Shamshad Begum consults from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Dr. Nurun Khanom is an experienced General Practitioner dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care. With extensive experience in primary care, she is committed to supporting individuals and families through all stages of life and building trusted, long-term relationships with her patients.

Dr. Khanom’s special interests include children’s health, women’s and reproductive health, dermatology, preventative medicine, and minor skin procedures. She is passionate about empowering patients through education and promoting long-term wellbeing.

Dr. Khanom has completed additional training in women’s health, child health, and skin cancer medicine, allowing her to provide comprehensive and tailored care across a wide range of health needs. She also performs minor skin procedures as part of her clinical practice.

Dr. Nurun Khanom consults from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Dr. Amena Begum brings a warm and compassionate approach to patient care. Joined out Practice in 2024. With experience in both hospital and community medicine, she enjoys all aspects of general practice and is dedicated to supporting patients through every stage of life.

Her special interests include women’s health, paediatrics, and mental health. Dr. Begum is passionate about empowering patients to take an active role in their wellbeing and takes a holistic approach to health management, focusing on both physical and emotional wellness.

Dr. Sarkar Barkatullah, originally from Bangladesh, joined our busy practice in 2024 and has quickly built a large and loyal following of patients. He is dedicated to providing patient-centred care for individuals and families across all ages.

Dr. Barkatullah’s clinical interests include (insert), (insert), and other aspects of general practice. He takes a thorough and caring approach to every consultation, helping patients make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing.

Dr. Barkatullah consults from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Dr. Sudhir Ahmed is a dedicated General Practitioner with 20 years of experience in family medicine. He is committed to providing continuity of care and building trusted, long-term relationships with individuals and families. Dr Ahmed takes pride in delivering respectful, empathetic, and evidence-based medical care to patients of all ages.

Dr Ahmed’s special interests include chronic disease management, diabetes, men’s health, respiratory medicine, and weight management. With extensive experience in internal medicine, emergency care, and general practice, he provides comprehensive care for acute and chronic health conditions.

He completed his medical degree (MBBS) at Dow University of Health Sciences in 2004 and holds a Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases (DTCD). Dr Ahmed has worked across Pakistan and the UAE for more than 15 years, gaining broad experience caring for diverse communities. He is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP International) and is currently a Registrar with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Ahmed is passionate about preventative health and supporting patients to achieve long-term wellbeing through education, guidance, and continuity of care.

Dr Aftab Ahmad is an experienced General Practitioner with over 13 years of GP experience and more than 20 years in the medical profession. He is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care and values continuity of care with individuals and families.

Dr Ahmad has strong expertise in paediatrics and child health, with special interests in behavioural and developmental assessments, including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual disability, learning difficulties, and cerebral palsy. He is dedicated to early identification and ongoing support for children and their families.

In addition to his paediatric focus, Dr Ahmad is certified in Skin Cancer Medicine and performs comprehensive skin checks, with experience in the early detection and management of melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, and other skin cancers.

He completed his MBBS in 2005, holds a Master of Clinical Medicine, and received a Gold Medal in the Diploma of Child Health in 2008. Dr Ahmad is a Member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (Paediatrics) and achieved Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH), UK, in 2025. Fluent in Arabic and Urdu, he enjoys working with families from diverse backgrounds.
