Our practice provides a wide range of Employment medicals. Services provided are:

Our practice has accredited Authorised Health Professionals (AHPs) who can complete all categories of railway medical assessments.

Our practice has our own standard Pre-Employment paperwork which employers can choose to have candidates’ assessment completed on or employers can email their employer specific paperwork to medicals@imbinamc.com.au.

What to bring for your appointment

• Form of photo ID- Driver’s License, Passport, Proof of Age card)
• Glasses or contacts if worn
• List of medications
• Any specialist reports for Chronic conditions
• Diabetics-last HbA1c results
• Latest download of sleep apnoea report if on sleep apnoea machine
• Wear loose clothing-preferably not skirts or dresses as musculoskeletal examinations and functional assessments are carried out

What to expect during your medical

• Medical History
• Cardiovascular examination
• Vision test (please bring any prescription glasses required)
• Urinalysis – some employers may request a Drug and Alcohol screening
• Respiratory examination
• Spirometry Testing
• Audiometry Testing
• Musculoskeletal examination
• Skin examination
• ECG
• Functional Assessment (only if requested)
